Job summary

Ultrafilter, a European manufacturer with a Dubai office, seeks a Group Accountant to manage books for Germany, UK, Switzerland, UAE and India. You will close monthly by day 10 for each entity and prepare a concise group pack with key variances.

The role covers intercompany invoicing, intercompany reconciliations, VAT/GST filings, and Dubai payroll (WPS). Fluent English is essential; German reading is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years' experience across multi-entity and multi-currency bookkeeping.
• Monthly close completed by the individual, including bank reconciliation and payment runs.
• Intercompany accounting and VAT across more than one country.
• Experience with cloud accounting or ERP finance module and strong Excel.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Keep the books of group companies on a single system for Germany, UK, Switzerland, UAE and India.
• Close each month by the working day 10 with a concise group pack and identify non-recurring items.
• Prepare weekly payment runs and answer supplier/customer queries.
• Invoice intercompany services monthly and keep balances reconciled.
• Handle VAT, GST and corporate tax filings with local advisers including EmaraTax UAE.
• Run monthly Dubai payroll (WPS) and a 13-week cash forecast; review invoices for terms.
• Support year-end and audits for all entities.

Ultrafilter is a European manufacturer of industrial and sterile filters with companies in Europe, the UAE and India. We are building our group finance function in Dubai and are hiring our Group Accountant.

What you will do:

• Keep the books of our group companies on one system (Germany, UK, Switzerland, UAE and India)
• Close every month by working day 10 for every entity, with a short group pack, including identification of extraordinary / non-recurring items
• Prepare the weekly payment run for approval and answer supplier and customer account queries
• Invoice intercompany services every month and keep intercompany balances reconciled
• Handle VAT, GST and corporate-tax filings with our tax advisors in each country, including EmaraTax in the UAE
• Run the monthly Dubai payroll (WPS) and a weekly 13-week cash forecast; review payment terms on invoices
• Support year-end and audits for all entities

You bring:

• Chartered Accountant (e.g. ICAI) or ACCA
• 3 to 6 years' experience, including multi-entity, multi-currency bookkeeping
• Monthly close done alone, including bank reconciliation and payment runs
• Intercompany accounting and VAT in more than one country
• Cloud accounting or ERP finance module experience and strong Excel
• Fluent written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• Reading German (we work with DATEV exports from Germany)
• UAE VAT and corporate-tax filings on EmaraTax
• Manufacturing or inventory accounting
• A finance-system migration or implementation

• AED 12,000 - 16,000 per month, tax-free, depending on experience
