Job summary

Dubai Municipality is seeking a specialist to plan maintenance activities for green spaces, develop periodic plans, inspect plants, fertilize soil, plant new vegetation, prune trees, and manage irrigation and drainage.

The role also involves guiding and developing supervisors and workers, preparing periodic project reports, ensuring data security, and performing other duties as assigned by the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering.
• Experience: Not Required.
• Willingness to supervise and train junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan maintenance activities and develop periodic plans for green spaces.
• Manage irrigation systems and determine water needs.
• Fertilize soil and apply nutrients.
• Prune trees and shrubs; plant and replace vegetation; lawn care.
• Control pests and diseases with biological and chemical methods.
• Guide, train and develop supervisors and workers; provide guidance during work.
• Prepare periodic reports on projects, including achievements, challenges and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with information security policies and data classification; report breaches.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
