Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Good knowledge of design tools: MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure E&M infrastructure aligns with design standards.
• Evaluate proposed E&M solutions for compliance with project specs.
• Review design documents and submittals for improvements.
• Provide technical support to develop and maintain EITC design standards for data centers.
• Prepare RFQs and PRs and follow through to Purchase Orders.
• Address vendor queries during tendering to ensure criteria alignment.
• Support day-to-day E&M requirements across departments and projects.
• Ensure installations meet quality, safety, reliability and operation standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks and ensure timely project delivery.

With this programme we are looking to hire a Graduate Trainee to join our Data Centre Design and Implementation team

Key Accountabilities

• Coordinate with internal teams and departments to ensure Electrical amp Mechanical E amp M infrastructure is planned designed and implemented in accordance with EITC design standards and requirements
• Conduct technical evaluations of proposed E amp M solutions equipment and materials submitted by vendors to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
• Review design documents shop drawings and material submittals for various projects and recommend modifications or improvements where necessary
• Provide technical support in the development enhancement and maintenance of EITC design standards and guidelines related to data centers and telecommunications facilities
• Prepare and raise RFQs and Purchase Requisitions PRs and follow up on approval processes until Purchase Orders POs are issued
• Address technical queries raised by vendors during tendering and evaluation stages ensuring responses align with established criteria specifications and project requirements
• Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams on matters related to E amp M systems and infrastructure
• Support and accommodate day-to-day E amp M requirements and operational needs across different departments and project teams
• Ensure all E amp M installations and implementations meet quality safety reliability and operational standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks resolve technical challenges and support successful project delivery within approved timelines and budgets
