Job summary

Wood in the United Arab Emirates seeks Emirati Graduate Engineers to work on diverse projects with ADNOC, developing essential project management and engineering skills. The role emphasizes safety, collaboration, and hands-on learning within a dynamic EPC/EPCM environment.

You will assist in coordinating activities, track milestones, prepare documentation, and liaise with mechanical, civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering in related discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or training preferred).
• Understanding of EPC/EPCM project lifecycle and principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Primavera or MS Project is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and executing engineering and project activities per schedules.
• Support project engineers and managers in tracking progress and milestones.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation (reports, schedules, minutes, submissions).
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams.
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings.
• Monitor costs, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Support procurement, vendor coordination, and expediting activities.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
• Contribute to risk identification and mitigation planning.
• Promote health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Engage in continuous learning to build competencies.
