AECOM Middle East Ltd. invites applications for a Graduate ICT Infrastructure Engineer - Telecom Design in Dubai.

This 24-month ADVANCE program offers exposure to ICT infrastructure, fiber networks, and site-wide connectivity, under guidance from senior engineers. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications with 0–2 years of relevant exposure, and an interest in CCNA/BICSI paths.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or closely related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of ICT infrastructure drawings, layouts, schematics, and supporting engineering information.
• Use AutoCAD, Revit, and related design platforms to develop and update project deliverables.
• Support the design of outside plant (OSP) telecommunications infrastructure and site-wide connectivity networks.
• Contribute to fibre-optic routing plans and associated ICT infrastructure arrangements.
• Assist with planning ICT duct routes, containment systems, chambers, and related civil infrastructure.
• Coordinate ICT requirements with civil engineering, utilities, landscape, and other project disciplines.
• Work with senior engineers to identify and resolve design interfaces that could affect telecommunications infrastructure.
• Help prepare technical reports, calculations, schedules, drawings, and design documentation.
• Support documentation required for authority submissions, technical reviews, and project approvals.
• Review project information and incorporate approved design changes into relevant ICT deliverables.
• Learn UAE and GCC telecommunications standards, infrastructure requirements, codes, and guidelines.
• Apply established engineering procedures and quality requirements when preparing design information.
• Participate in multidisciplinary coordination activities and technical discussions.
• Support design reviews by assembling drawings, technical information, and project records.
• Develop an understanding of how ICT infrastructure progresses from early design through detailed engineering and project delivery.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and respond to design comments under supervision.
• Build practical knowledge of infrastructure connectivity, fiber systems, telecommunications networks, and engineering coordination.
• Participate in ADVANCE graduate program activities.
