Job summary

AECOM, a global infrastructure leader, is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi team. The program offers exposure to electrical design calculations, load schedules, and comprehensive technical documentation for building services projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University.
Candidates must be recent 2025 or 2026 graduates to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.

Responsibilities

Support the preparation of electrical design calculations, drawings, load schedules, and technical documentation for building services projects.
Assist in developing and optimizing power, lighting, ELV, and other building systems within multidisciplinary project teams.
Participate in site reviews, inspections, and coordination activities to ensure quality assurance and design compliance with project standards.
Contribute to design studies, equipment selection, and evaluation of engineering solutions during planning and construction phases.
Maintain organized project documentation, track deliverables, and support project workflows under the guidance of senior engineers.
Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to support design development and problem-solving.
Develop foundational expertise in electrical engineering principles, safety requirements, and industry best practices through continuous learning.
