Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a talented Graduate Civil Engineer to join our roads and highways team in Abu Dhabi. You will contribute to innovative, sustainable transportation projects and collaborate with experienced professionals on design challenges from concept to delivery.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates up to 2 years’ experience with Civil Engineering degree, proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and strong communication in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• UAE National with a valid Family Book.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of road/highway design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and geotechnical analysis tools.
• Strong civil engineering knowledge and construction methods.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, with good communication skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out discipline designs to required standards.
• Ensure designs are reviewed to the required standards.
• Support project submittals and NOC process.
• Stay updated with technical developments within the discipline.
• Understand the contract and scope of project deliverables.
• Embed Health & Safety into all work practices.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
• Provide regular work status updates to line manager.
• Attend and contribute in team and project meetings.
• Contribute to delivery of BU strategy and sustainability.
• Ensure QMS and Project Lifecycle compliance across team.
• Input into the work of the Technical Working Group.
• Feedback on business development opportunities.
