Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Road Engineer in Abu Dhabi to contribute to major transportation projects across the UAE, delivering geometric road design and technical outputs with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires 5–10 years of highway design experience, knowledge of Abu Dhabi/UAE standards, and proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with strong client and authority coordination.

Experience with design reviews, tender documentation, and delivering commercial-ready drawings is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with relevant road/highway experience.
• 5–10 years delivering road and highway design projects.
• Experience in UAE/GCC projects and local standards is preferred.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D/AutoCAD and associated design software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver geometric road and highway designs and associated documentation.
• Prepare calculations, reports, and construction drawings.
• Coordinate with utilities, drainage, structures, and traffic teams.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi/UAE standards and reviews.
• Support design reviews and stakeholder meetings.
