GEMS Education's Dubai American Academy invites applications for a Grade 5 Teacher in the Elementary Curriculum. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the American curriculum, foster inquiry, collaboration and independent thinking.

Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Education or equivalent and has proven elementary teaching experience, preferably with Grade 5 and experience in international/ IB settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education in Elementary or Primary Education or equivalent with recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/PGDE or licence).
• Proven elementary teaching experience, Grade 5 preferred.
• Experience with American curriculum or IB environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Grade 5 lessons aligned with Dubai American Academy curriculum expectations.
• Create inquiry-driven learning experiences encouraging questioning, investigation and collaboration.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse international learners and monitor progress with formative assessments.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and wellbeing.
