Job summary

SamTech Group in Dubai Emirate is seeking a skilled GPS installation technician to install, inspect and repair GPS fleet tracking units and related telematics equipment across customer vehicles. You will coordinate with the support team to ensure timely installations and proper handover, while keeping tools and assets in good condition.

The role requires a Diploma in Electronics and at least 2 years of experience in GPS installations, with a UAE driver’s license mandatory.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics or equivalent.
• 2 years in GPS & GPS Accessories installation.
• UAE driver's license mandatory.
• Ability to install sensors (Fuel/Temperature/Door/Camera).
• Good communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Install/Remove/Transfer GPS units and ensure unit functionality by coordinating with customer support.
• Ensure vehicle is left in same condition as handover.
• Be present at customer location on time according to schedules.
• Use only approved tools and maintain assets in good condition.
• Report any damage or loss to the technical supervisor.
• Prepare detailed visit reports and submit via email the same day.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and test new hardware.
• Train customers’ technicians when required.
• Notify operations team upon completion of work and 30 minutes before visits.
