Job summary

ESLY Signature Gold Trading LLC is actively seeking a General Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations in a gold trading environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience in a gold trading company and hands-on Orosoft Technovating Metals software knowledge. UAE VAT and Corporate Tax familiarity is required, with on-site UAE work in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Previous accounting experience in a Gold Trading Company is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with Orosoft Technovating Metals software is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of gold inventory and commodity accounting.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping.
• Maintain accurate daily financial records.
• Perform daily gold inventory reconciliation between physical stock and accounting records.
• Record and reconcile gold purchases, sales, stock movements, and inventory valuation.
• Monitor gold pricing and related financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Handle UAE VAT (5%) calculations, reconciliations, and filing.
• Assist with UAE Corporate Tax (9%) compliance.
• Prepare financial documents required for external audits.
• Maintain accurate records for high-value gold transactions.
• Support AML/CFT-related compliance requirements.
• Manage customer and supplier ageing.
• Assist with payroll and MOHRE/WPS requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing.
