Job summary

Confidentiel seeks a seasoned Chief Operating Officer to drive operational performance for an international telecoms business based in Dubai. The role translates board strategy into measurable results across country ops, sales, distribution, customer experience and business transformation.

You will lead country leadership teams, strengthen operating discipline and push profitable growth across prepaid, postpaid and digital channels, with hands-on governance and change leadership.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience within telecom operators (MNO/MVNO).
• Proven accountability for multi-country operations and P&L performance.
• Experience reporting to a Board, Chairman or Group CEO.
• Strong commercial judgement, financial discipline and governance.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational performance across international markets with clear ownership and targets.
• Hold country leaders accountable for revenue, profitability and subscriber growth.
• Translate strategy into annual operating plans and budgets.
• Drive transformation, automation and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure customer experience is strengthened across onboarding, activation and billing.
• Oversee governance, risk controls and reporting to the Board.
