Job summary

AMEA Power in Dubai seeks a Tax Director to plan, manage and develop all aspects of the group’s tax process in compliance with international tax laws.

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead tax planning, compliance, transfer pricing, and audits across jurisdictions, while driving tax risk management and cost optimization.

This role requires extensive experience in corporate tax, cross-border taxation and strong leadership in a fast-growing energy group.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Taxation required.
• CPA or equivalent qualification.
• Fluency in English; French and Arabic are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership on tax planning, compliance and control across AMEA Power operations.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws in all jurisdictions of operation, including corporate tax, transfer pricing, PAYE and indirect taxes.
• Identify and evaluate taxation risks and advise on mitigation and optimization.
• Develop systems to compile tax information and ensure timely filing of returns across jurisdictions.
• Monitor tax law developments and update policies and strategies accordingly.
• Support tax audits and provide advisory support for M&A and project finance.
