Job summary

ASQ Education, an international school in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a passionate Middle & High School Social Studies Teacher to join immediately. You will deliver Social Studies aligned with the American curriculum, foster critical thinking in a multicultural class, and connect historical contexts to real-world events.

Holders of a Bachelor’s degree with a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS) and experience with American curriculum are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies, History, Geography or Political Science with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Experience teaching the American curriculum or similar international frameworks; familiarity with UAE Ministry subjects is an advantage.
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners.
• Passionate about fostering global awareness, critical thinking, and cultural appreciation in secondary students.
• Enthusiasm, adaptability and commitment to a collaborative, multicultural school environment.
