Job summary

Daimler Trucks North America LLC is seeking a Portfolio Strategy & Planning Manager to shape portfolio strategy, planning and performance across the Global South region. You will lead complex assessments and translate market dynamics into fact-based recommendations for portfolio decisions.

Working with the Head of Portfolio Strategy & Planning, you will drive cross-functional alignment, run strategic workstreams, and present findings to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in portfolio strategy, business planning, or related fields.
• Experience leading complex strategic initiatives across international, matrix organizations.
• Ability to develop executive-level recommendations and influence senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio assessments across products, segments, and markets to evaluate competitiveness and market fit.
• Identify gaps, overlaps, and optimization opportunities to strengthen portfolio structure.
• Drive annual and strategic portfolio planning with scenario analysis.
• Present strategic findings to senior stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Mentor colleagues and develop planning methodologies and best practices.
• Ensure cross-functional alignment on portfolio priorities and initiatives.
