DTNA seeks a Product Manager to lead complex strategy and requirement planning across the Global South region. You will translate market, customer, competitor, regulatory, and technology insights into robust product requirements and strategic recommendations that shape future product and portfolio decisions.
You will mentor junior PMs, drive cross-functional alignment, and support portfolio evolution and roadmap discussions with senior leadership across regions.
The Product Manager leads complex product strategy and requirement planning initiatives across the Global South region. The role translates market, customer, competitor, regulatory, and technology insights into robust product requirements and strategic recommendations that influence future product and portfolio decisions. Working closely with the Head of Product Strategy & Requirement Planning, the position acts as a functional expert and trusted sparring partner across regional and global stakeholders, leading assigned strategic initiatives, driving cross-functional alignment, and supporting the development of future portfolio and roadmap proposals.
Overview of Main Tasks:
Lead strategic market, customer, competitor, and application assessments across assigned product segments to identify growth opportunities, risks, and future requirements.
Evaluate industry, technology, and regulatory developments and translate insights into recommendations for future product and portfolio direction.
Lead the development of complex product requirement packages across markets, challenging assumptions and consolidating customer and market requirements.
Drive prioritization of product requirements based on strategic relevance, customer needs, market attractiveness, and competitiveness.
Lead portfolio gap assessments and competitiveness reviews, identifying opportunities to strengthen market coverage, customer fit, and product positioning.
Develop recommendations for future product evolution and portfolio optimization and contribute structured insights to portfolio and roadmap discussions.
Support product launches with relevant technical and commercial sales argumentation following Start of Production.
Act as the lead interface for assigned strategic initiatives across Regional Centres, Product Marketing, Market Intelligence, Engineering, and Global Product Management.
Represent assigned initiatives in global planning and product forums and influence decision-making through fact-based recommendations.
Present strategic recommendations and planning outcomes to senior leadership and facilitate alignment across markets, functions, and regions.
Mentor Associate Product Managers and Product Managers and contribute to methodologies, tools, best practices, and continuous improvement across Product Strategy & Requirement Planning.
Support the Head of Product Strategy & Requirement Planning on key strategic topics and provide functional leadership where required.
Required Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, Product Planning, Product Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
