Job summary

inDrive is seeking an experienced Payroll Accounting Manager in the United Arab Emirates to own payroll accounting operations across multiple markets. You will lead month‑end and quarter‑end close, ensure compliance, and drive automation and process improvements to support rapid growth.

The role requires 7+ years of accounting, including 3+ years in a public company, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and experience with payroll compliance and NetSuite.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a public company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Experience with payroll accounting and related compliance requirements.
• Proven track record leading process improvements and system implementations.
• Proficient in NetSuite or similar accounting software and financial integrations.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary preparer in month-end and quarter-end close calendars and reconciliations.
• Own payroll accounting functions: processing, reconciliations, compliance and reporting.
• Design and implement robust accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Lead process improvements, automation, and scaling initiatives for growth.
• Develop technical accounting expertise in payroll compliance, processes and controls.
• Draft policies leveraging US GAAP guidance with cross-functional input.
• Identify inefficiencies and design innovative solutions for improvement.
• Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits and deliverables.
• Assist with processing the Company's employee equity grants.
