Qualifications

• A PhD from a recognized and reputable university in education.
• Appointment at the Full Professor rank, with a minimum of ten years of service at the Full Professor level.
• A distinguished academic and research record relevant to SEA’s strategic research priorities.
• Evidence of sustained academic leadership and contribution to the development of the candidate’s discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an internationally recognized program of research aligned with SEA’s strategic research priorities.
• Design, conduct, and lead high-quality original research using rigorous methods with demonstrable contributions to knowledge and policy.
• Maintain a sustained program of scholarly activity with demonstrable research impact.
• Publish regularly in peer‑reviewed, Scopus-indexed journals with a record of leading publications.
• Produce high‑impact scholarly outputs, including books, chapters, and policy reports.
• Establish and maintain research partnerships with leading universities and organizations.
• Lead and contribute to competitive national and international research proposals and funding.
• Contribute to building SEA’s international research reputation and capacity.
