Job summary

Bilfinger is seeking a Vice President HSEQ for the International People segment in Abu Dhabi. The role will design and deliver a high-quality HSEQ strategy and plan aligned with global standards, driving standardized systems, processes, and tools across the Segment while ensuring robust governance and regulatory compliance.

You will lead and develop a large HSEQ team, coordinate audits and investigations, and report progress to Segment leadership, contributing to operational excellence and risk

Qualifications

• Very good knowledge of HSEQ regulations and standards.
• Strong proficiency in implementing HSEQ strategies and programmes.
• Strong understanding of guidelines, compliance and security regulations.
• Strong ability to align function objectives with business strategy.
• Excellent communication to present complex information clearly.
• Strong ability to build and manage relationships with partners.
• Experience supervising and developing large teams.

Responsibilities

• Align Group HSEQ strategy and targets with regional/local objectives to deliver a regional improvement plan.
• Define, coordinate and monitor HSEQ activities, campaigns and training within the region.
• Promote standardized HSEQ systems, programmes, processes, and tools across the Segment.
• Establish and maintain an HSEQ governance framework with clear accountability.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality regulations across the Segment.
• Execute internal audits and coordinate investigations of incidents (root cause analysis).
• Ensure effective assurance models and risk management across the Segment.
• Define and govern segmentation-wide compliance standards and verify BU adherence.
• Coordinate, monitor and report HSEQ improvements and KPIs to Segment leadership.
