Client is seeking a Senior HSE Manager to lead a global health, safety and environmental program across operations. You will drive the zero-harm vision, reduce risk, and champion a culture of safety in a complex, port-and-industrial setting.

Relocation assistance is provided for candidates outside the UAE. You will shape strategy, lead audits, investigations, training, and reporting, and partner with operations, HR and regulators to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

• 8+ years in HSE
• 3+ years in senior leadership
• 5+ years in heavy industries
• Experience in Global organization
• Industry – Port & terminal Industry is desired, however other industries are welcome

Responsabilidades

• Shape and implement global HSE strategy with focus on risk reduction and zero serious injuries/fatalities (SIF)
• Step in as the primary HSE leader when the Group VP is unavailable
• Lead HSE audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews; identify gaps and implement solutions
• Investigate serious incidents, determine root causes and drive preventive actions
• Advise business units on best practices, safety standards and risk controls
• Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations
• Drive continuous improvement through training and behavioral safety programs
• Manage HSE projects end-to-end and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Develop and roll out HSE training programs to build a stronger safety culture

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership:

• Help shape and implement our global HSE strategy, focusing on risk reduction and zero serious injuries/fatalities (SIF).
• Step in as the primary HSE leader when the Group VP is unavailable.
• Lead HSE audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews—identifying gaps and recommending solutions.
• Investigate serious incidents, find root causes, and implement preventive actions.

Risk Management & Compliance:

• Advise business units on best practices, safety standards, and risk controls.
• Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement through training, behavioral safety programs, and best practices.

Projects & Collaboration:

• Manage HSE projects from start to finish—on time and within budget.
• Partner with internal teams (operations, HR, leadership) and external agencies (regulators, industry groups).
• Analyze incident trends, prepare reports, and share lessons learned across the business.
• Help develop and roll out HSE training programs to build a stronger safety culture.

Basic Qualifications:

Education:

Degree or diploma in HSE, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 8+ years in HSE, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
• 5+ years in heavy industries (ports, logistics, manufacturing, or similar).
• Proven track record in incident investigations, risk management, and training.
• Experience in Global organization.
• Industry – Port & terminal Industry is desired however other industries are welcome.

• Skilled in problem-solving, project management, and decision-making.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and IT skills.
