Job summary

David Kennedy Recruitment is partnering with a Forex and CFD brokerage to recruit a Head of Risk Management, a senior leadership role based in Dubai or with global reach. The position leads the firm’s risk framework, protecting financial stability while enabling sustainable growth.

You will oversee market, liquidity and counterparty risk, manage A-Book/B-Book and hedging with providers, and build a high-performing risk team across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in Forex/CFD brokerage risk management.
• Strong knowledge of A-Book/B-Book models and exposure management.
• Hands-on with MT5 Manager and liquidity infrastructure.
• Deep hedging, liquidity management, and institutional trading know-how.
• Proven leadership and clear communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s overall risk management strategy.
• Oversee market, liquidity, operational and counterparty risk.
• Manage A-Book, B-Book and Hybrid execution models.
• Monitor client flow and trading performance.
• Design hedging strategies with liquidity providers.
• Define exposure limits and risk controls across instruments.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly executive risk reports.
• Lead risk assessment during market events and crises.
• Collaborate with Dealing, Compliance, Finance and Exec teams.
• Build and mentor a high-performing risk team.
