David Kennedy Recruitment is seeking a Head of Risk Management for a Forex/CFD brokerage, ideally based in Dubai. The senior leader will drive the global risk framework, govern market, liquidity, counterparty risk, and hedging programs, and partner with Dealing, Compliance, Finance, and Exec teams.

The role emphasizes ownership of risk policies, reporting, and team-building, with a hybrid/remote work model and strong leadership expectations.

Qualifications

• Senior leader with oversight of global risk governance and control environments.
• Deep understanding of Forex/CFD risk exposure, hedging, and liquidity management.
• Experience with trading infrastructure and institutional counterparty risk.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the companys overall risk management strategy
• Oversee market liquidity, operational, and counterparty risk across trading activities
• Manage A-Book, B-Book, and Hybrid models to optimise profitability and risk exposure
• Monitor client flow and toxic trading behaviors
• Design hedging strategies with liquidity providers
• Define exposure limits, leverage policies, and risk controls
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly executive risk reports
• Lead risk assessments during major market events and crises
• Collaborate with Dealing, Compliance, Finance, and Exec teams
• Build and mentor a high-performing risk management team
