Job summary

RMG Talent in Dubai is partnering with a Forex and CFD brokerage to recruit a Head of Risk Management. This senior role leads the global risk framework, safeguarding financial stability while supporting sustainable growth across markets.

The successful candidate will build and mentor a high-performing risk team, oversee A-Book/B-Book execution, hedging, and risk controls, and collaborate with Dealing, Compliance, Finance and Exec Management. Remote-friendly, Dubai-based preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 35 years of experience in Forex/CFD brokerage risk management.
• Strong understanding of A-Book/B-Book models and exposure management.
• Hands-on experience with MT5 Manager and trading infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s overall risk management strategy.
• Oversee market, liquidity, operational and counterparty risk across trading activities.
• Design hedging strategies with liquidity providers and define exposure limits.
• Produce executive risk reports daily, weekly and monthly.
• Lead risk assessment during major market events and crisis situations.
• Build and mentor a high-performing risk management team.

Overview

RMG Talent is working with a Forex and CFD brokerage that is seeking to onboard a Head of Risk Management to join their team ideally based in Dubai. This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading and strengthening the companys global risk framework protecting the firms financial stability while supporting sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the companys overall risk management strategy
• Oversee market liquidity operational and counterparty risk across all trading activities
• Manage A-Book B-Book and Hybrid execution models to optimise profitability and risk exposure
• Monitor client flow toxic trading behaviour and trading performance
• Design and implement hedging strategies with liquidity providers
• Define exposure limits leverage policies and risk controls across all trading instruments
• Produce daily weekly and monthly executive risk reports
• Lead risk assessment during major market events high volatility and crisis situations
• Collaborate closely with the Dealing Compliance Finance and Executive Management teams
• Build and mentor a high-performing risk management team

Requirements

• Minimum 35 years of experience in Forex/CFD brokerage risk management
• Strong understanding of A-Book/B-Book models and exposure management
• Hands-on experience with MT5 Manager PrimeXM Centroid oneZero or similar trading infrastructure
• Deep knowledge of hedging liquidity management and institutional trading operations
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills under pressure
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
