Job description

Job Title: Global Head of Business Intelligence

Location: Dubai

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Department: Finance

Position Overview

We are hiring a strategic, commercially minded, and highly analytical Global Head of Business Intelligence to lead an enterprise-wide BI function. While positioned within the Finance umbrella, this role will be the central hub for data-driven decision-making across all functions — from operations and sales to product, compliance, and HR. You will shape and execute a BI strategy that provides the leadership team with timely, actionable insights, enabling performance optimisation and growth at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Finance-Driven Business Intelligence

• Define and deliver a unified BI strategy that supports financial, commercial, operational, and strategic priorities.

• Consolidate data from across all business units — Finance, Sales, Product, Compliance, Operations, and People — into actionable insights.

• Enable cross-functional visibility on key business drivers such as customer acquisition, retention, operational efficiency, cost optimisation, and profitability.

• Partner with business leaders to embed data insights into decision-making at all levels.

Data Governance & Analytics Infrastructure

• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Data Engineering to ensure a single source of truth for enterprise data.

• Lead the design, governance, and maintenance of a robust analytics ecosystem, integrating financial and non-financial systems.

• Oversee the selection and optimisation of BI platforms (e.g., Looker) and ensure scalability across regions and entities.

Executive & Board-Level Reporting

• Deliver unified dashboards and reporting for the CFO, CEO, and Executive Committee, covering both financial and non-financial KPIs.

• Provide scenario modelling, trend analysis, and predictive analytics to guide strategic and operational decisions.

• Support the CFO in presenting business performance to the Board and investors.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Build and lead a high-performing BI team within Finance, serving all departments globally.

• Position the CFO organisation as the central owner of enterprise performance insight.

• Foster a culture of data literacy, enabling business leaders to make evidence-based decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or related field.

• 15–20+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence, Data Strategy, or Analytics leadership, ideally in multinational or high-growth environments.

• Proven success in building BI functions that integrate both financial and non-financial data.

• Strong understanding of business operations, commercial levers, and performance metrics across functions.

• Advanced skills in BI tools and data visualisation, plus familiarity with ERP/CRM/HRMS integration (e.g., NetSuite, WebHR etc.).

• Track record in stakeholder management at C-suite level.

Preferred Qualities

• Experience working directly with CFOs and executive leadership.

• Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders while maintaining Finance ownership of BI.

• Skilled in change management and introducing analytics in complex, multi-country organisations.

• Deep understanding of compliance, governance, and data security in regulated industries.

What You’ll Gain

• A strategic role in shaping the intelligence capability of the CFO organisation.

• Influence over decisions spanning every major business function.

• Direct exposure to the CFO, CEO, and Board.

• The opportunity to embed a Finance-led, data-driven culture in a scaling global business.
