Job summary

GMG is seeking an experienced Senior Logistics professional to oversee international freight and logistics operations with a focus on cost efficiency, compliance, and service excellence. The role involves evaluating logistics models, driving cost savings, and shaping processes through data-driven decision making.

You will manage vendor and team performance, foster stakeholder collaboration, and ensure import/export operations across GCC/MENA run smoothly, including ocean freight and regulatory

Qualifications

• MBA in Supply Chain is an advantage.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• 8–12 years of progressive experience in transportation and international logistics, including freight management.
• Strong exposure to GCC/MENA import and export operations, customs regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Ocean Freight extensive experience, and Import/Export Shipping Operations experience are a must.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to bring in cost savings and enhance processes.
• Apply data-driven decision making to optimise logistics models.
• Manage and review vendor and team performance through KPIs.
• Coordinate with LSPs to implement efficient logistics solutions across GCC/MENA.
• Guide and mentor teams, setting measurable KPIs for service providers.
• Ensure smooth import/export operations and compliance with regulations.
