Job summary

Walker Lovell in Abu Dhabi seeks a senior professional to build a global supplier network for a major fertilizer business. You’ll own an outsourcing function across MENA and Asia, developing strategic supplier relationships and expanding beyond a regional base.

You’ll have autonomy to grow the network, meet clear commercial KPIs, and travel internationally to key fertilizer markets while collaborating with senior leadership to expand volumes and market reach.

Qualifications

• Proven fertilizer trading or sourcing experience.
• Strong knowledge of nitrogen fertilizers and exposure to phosphate markets.
• Market experience across MENA region and/or Asia.
• Commercially minded with an entrepreneurial approach to network-building.

Responsibilities

• Build a scalable third-party supplier network, initially across MENA, then Asia and China.
• Develop relationships with fertilizer producers, suppliers and trading partners to unlock sourcing opportunities.
• Shape the outsourcing network with autonomy to recommend agents, representation and resources where justified.
• Collaborate closely with senior sales leadership against KPIs and growth targets.
