Job summary

Alfa Laval Spiral is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator in Dubai to oversee corporate compliance and export control matters. You will work across business units to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies related to international trade.

The role involves maintaining records, advising on licensing requirements, conducting due diligence, and delivering staff training to strengthen our compliance program in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in law, commercial law or related field.
• 0-2 years experience in corporate compliance.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and export control frameworks.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update corporate records filings and governance documents.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
• Advise business units on export licensing classification and screening requirements.
• Conduct due diligence on customers, suppliers and transactions to identify export control risks.
• Prepare and submit export license applications and maintain related documentation.
• Develop and deliver export control training to staff.
• Identify, assess and mitigate compliance risks related to corporate and export activities.
• Investigate and report potential violations or incidents.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors as needed.
• Stay updated on changes in export control and corporate compliance regulations.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance compliance effectiveness.
