Job summary

1inch is seeking an Senior Corporate Counsel to own legal and compliance matters across our international group, covering corporate, commercial, People/HR, governance, and cross-border issues.

You will develop and oversee our global compliance framework, including KYC/KYB, AML/CFT, sanctions and third-party due diligence, working with multiple business functions to implement practical policies and controls.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Law degree (LLB/JD) and a professional legal qualification or admission to practise law in at least one jurisdiction.
• Strong corporate, commercial and employment law experience in an international and cross-border environment.
• Experience advising People/HR across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Experience owning or operating compliance frameworks, with KYC/KYB, AML/CFT and sanctions.
• Strong contract negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Sound knowledge of data protection and privacy requirements for international organizations.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously develop the group’s compliance framework (KYC/KYB, AML/CFT, sanctions, third-party due diligence, and related policies).
• Oversee risk-based compliance decisions and investigations, coordinating with regulators, law enforcement and other high-risk matters.
• Monitor compliance risks, drive remediation and report to RiskCo, ExCo and Boards with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee compliance vendors, tooling, and promote compliance awareness across the organization.
• Advise on corporate, commercial, and cross-border legal matters including group structuring and intercompany arrangements.
• Provide legal guidance across jurisdictions including DIFC/UAE operations and coordinate external counsel as needed.
• Support Board and shareholder matters and provide oversight of corporate and statutory obligations.
• Act as primary legal advisor to People/HR across the full employment lifecycle and cross-border employment.
• Draft, review and negotiate vendor, customer, partner and other commercial agreements.
• Advise on data protection and privacy requirements across international operations and shape the global policy framework.
