Job summary

1inch is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to own legal and compliance for its international group. You will advise across corporate, commercial, People/HR, governance and cross-border matters, translating complex regulations into practical policies and controls.

Key focus includes building a global compliance framework with KYC/KYB, AML/CFT, sanctions and third-party due diligence, while coordinating with finance, product, IT and operations to manage risk.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Law degree (LLB/JD) and professional qualification.
• Strong corporate, commercial and employment law in international settings.
• Experience advising People/HR across multiple entities/jurisdictions.
• Owns compliance frameworks: KYC/KYB, AML/CFT, sanctions & due diligence.
• Strong contracting, negotiation & stakeholder-management skills.
• Knowledge of data protection/privacy for international orgs.
• Sound judgment translating requirements into business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the group’s compliance framework (KYC/KYB, AML/CFT, sanctions).
• Oversee investigations, coordinate with regulators, law enforcement & external parties.
• Monitor compliance risks and report to board-level committees.
• Oversee compliance vendors, tooling and awareness across the org.
• Advise on corporate, commercial and cross-border matters, including structuring & governance.
• Provide guidance across jurisdictions including UAE/DIFC operations; coordinate external counsel.
• Support Board/shareholder matters and the group’s statutory obligations.
• Advise on employment life cycle, workforce structures, contracts & policies.
