Job summary

New York University Abu Dhabi seeks a Chief Compliance Officer to lead the NYUAD Office of Compliance and align its program with NYU's global standards. The role reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Counsel, with oversight by NYU's Chief Global Compliance Officer.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Experience leading multiculturally diverse teams.
• Experience in highly regulated environments.
• Ability to read and interpret complex regulatory documents.
• Excellent command of English (oral and written).
• Knowledge of US and UAE laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead NYUAD Office of Compliance and supervise compliance activities.
• Develop and implement annual compliance plans and risk mitigations.
• Monitor regulatory changes and align NYUAD/NYU policies accordingly.
• Oversee investigations and whistleblowing processes.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across NYUAD and NYU.
