Job summary

Venture Search seeks a Global CFO based in Dubai to establish and lead a central finance and operational platform supporting multiple trading desks in a growing physical agricultural and soft commodities trading business.

Ideal candidates have 12–18 years of relevant experience, including five in commodity trading, with ACA/ACCA/CPA credentials and strong IFRS consolidation capabilities to drive multi‑currency financial control and strategic growth.

Qualifications

• 12–18 years of relevant professional experience, including at least five years within physical agricultural or soft commodity trading.
• Experience in finance, financial controlling or trade finance within a commodity trading business.
• Proven IFRS consolidation experience in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a central finance and operational platform to support multiple trading desks globally.
• Oversee global finance, financial control, reporting and consolidation across a multi‑entity, multi‑currency business.
• Manage IFRS reporting, budgeting, planning and management reporting.
