Job summary

Client of NicheHR Global in Dubai seeks a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15+ years of finance leadership to drive the company’s financial strategy across Africa and international operations, overseeing treasury, trade finance, risk and controls.

The role partners with the CEO and senior leadership to guide investments, budgeting, forecasting and corporate governance while building a high-performing finance team and ensuring rigorous compliance.

Qualifications

• Senior finance leadership experience in a fast-moving, international trading or agribusiness environment.
• Strong governance, risk, and compliance knowledge.
• Proven ability to partner with CEO and senior leaders on strategic investments and expansion.
• Experience with treasury, liquidity management, FX hedging and working capital optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance strategy aligned with growth and expansion plans.
• Partner with CEO and senior leadership on business strategy, investments, expansion and commercial decisions.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and long-term business planning.
• Provide management with insights into profitability, margins, cash flow and performance.
• Oversee treasury, liquidity management, trade finance, and banking relationships.
• Ensure governance, controls, audits, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Build and develop a high-performing finance organization and establish KPIs and reporting structures.
