Latam at Silicon Valley is seeking a highly experienced Geotechnical Engineering Manager / Ground Engineering Director to lead complex ground projects in the UAE. You will drive technical excellence, shape design strategy, and mentor multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, value-driven infrastructure solutions.

The role emphasizes leadership in investigations, foundation design, risk management, and client coordination, with accountability for budgets, schedules, and safety.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering required; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
• Extensive experience in geotechnical and ground engineering on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, geotechnical analysis and ground risk management.
• Proven leadership in technical project delivery and team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations, ground assessments, foundation design and engineering analysis.
• Oversee ground improvement, slope stabilization, deep excavation, and foundation projects.
• Provide technical leadership, design reviews, risk assessments and engineering recommendations.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, consultants and client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulatory requirements, and health and safety practices.
• Mentor teams and drive innovation, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
