Job summary

GeneDx Dubai seeks a detail-oriented coordinator to review genetic test orders for completeness, link samples, and document updates in internal systems. You will notify clients of issues and support scheduling and patient referrals.

You should have a biology-related degree, strong MS Office skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently or with colleagues. Flexibility to cover either Sun-Thurs 8am-4:30pm ET or Mon-Fri 1:30pm-10pm ET is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Medical Technology, Healthcare or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in mathematical reasoning and computer literacy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Review genetic test orders for completeness, accuracy, and appropriateness
• Facilitate test setup by linking relative samples and positive controls
• Document order details and updates into internal systems
• Identify issues and place tests on hold for downstream processing
• Notify clients of issues and resolve discrepancies in missing information
• Respond to patient and provider inquiries via phone and email
• Process incoming referrals and coordinate patient scheduling
• Support the Patient Counseling Team with follow-up tasks and workflow management
• Maintain working knowledge of systems for ordering, setup, and scheduling
