Job summary

Kanoo Machinery is seeking an experienced General Technician Bobcat to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role covers diagnosis, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Bobcat heavy machinery and related equipment across the full product range.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, strong electrical and hydraulic knowledge, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Knowledge of tractors and beach cleaning machines is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Bobcat machines or heavy construction equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret machine error codes, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults on Bobcat heavy machinery and construction equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and hydraulic issues by checking machine error codes, inspecting wiring, and verifying hydraulic systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to required technical standards.
• Work independently to accurately identify faults and minimize rework and repeat failures.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and parts information to identify required components.
• Complete assigned repair jobs efficiently within allocated time and labour hours.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship with focus on zero rework and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical electrical and hydraulic faults on Bobcat heavy machinery and construction equipment
• Diagnose electrical and hydraulic issues by checking machine error fault codes inspecting wiring harnesses and electrical connections and verifying hydraulic fluid and pressure levels
• Carry out preventive maintenance breakdown maintenance troubleshooting and repairs to the required technical standards
• Work independently to accurately identify faults and minimize rework and repeat failures
• Read and interpret technical manuals electrical hydraulic schematics and parts information to identify required components
• Complete assigned repair jobs efficiently within the allocated timeframe and labour hours
• Maintain high-quality workmanship with a focus on zero rework and customer complaints
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding technical and warranty-related matters
• Ensure full compliance with company HSE policies procedures and applicable safety regulations

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Bobcat machines and/or heavy construction equipment.Strong knowledge of electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.Ability to interpret machine error codes, wiring diagrams, wiring harnesses, hydraulic systems, and technical schematics.Ability to work independently and diagnose faults without continuous technical supervision.Knowledge or experience with tractors and beach cleaning machines is an advantage.Good written and verbal English communication skills.Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively within a technical service team.Technical education/qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Heavy Equipment, or a related technical discipline.
