The role combines business acumen with hands-on leadership across CNC machining, fabrication, and tool manufacturing, with emphasis on quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidate will have 15+ years in precision manufacturing and 7+ years in senior leadership, with API/ISO, ERP, and HSE expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• 15+ years in precision manufacturing or oilfield equipment operations.
• 7+ years in senior manufacturing/operations leadership.
• Hands-on CNC machining expertise and oilfield equipment manufacturing.
• Experience with drilling and fishing tools is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of API/ISO quality systems, HSE, production planning, and ERP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations across CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, inspection, testing, and delivery.
• Provide technical leadership on complex machining and manufacturing challenges.
• Drive production planning, capacity, productivity, quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
• Ensure API, ISO, HSE, and customer requirements are met.

We are conducting a search on behalf of an established oilfield equipment manufacturing company in the UAE for an experienced VP – Manufacturing / General Manager to lead its manufacturing operations, technical performance, and business growth.

Role Overview:

This senior leadership role combines business management with hands-on manufacturing expertise, overseeing the manufacture, repair, and support of drilling and fishing tools and related oilfield equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations across CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, inspection, testing, and delivery
• Provide technical leadership on complex machining and manufacturing challenges
• Oversee the manufacture, repair, and redress of drilling and fishing tools
• Drive production planning, capacity, productivity, quality, cost, and on-time delivery
• Ensure compliance with API, ISO, HSE, and customer requirements
• Manage operational budgets, CAPEX, resources, and manufacturing KPIs
• Lead and develop production, engineering, and technical teams
• Support business strategy, customer relationships, and operational growth

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, or Industrial Engineering preferred
• 15+ years in precision manufacturing or oilfield equipment operations
• 7+ years in senior manufacturing/operations leadership
