Job summary

General Manager - Offshore Ship Management based in the Middle East will lead the company’s overall operations, setting strategic direction and ensuring safe, compliant and profitable vessel performance.

You will drive growth through client engagement, develop key relationships with owners and charterers, and provide strong leadership to senior teams across marine operations, technical management, HSEQ, and business development.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in ship management or offshore vessel operations.
• Strong offshore maritime background preferred.
• Proven track record in business development and client management.
• Knowledge of technical, operational, and HSEQ requirements in the maritime sector.
• Ability to balance commercial objectives with safe and efficient vessel operations.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and driving organisational growth.

Faststream Recruitment is partnering with an established and growing ship management organisation to appoint a General Manager for a key leadership position within the business Managing a fleet of offshore vessels this role requires a commercially minded maritime leader who can drive operational excellence while also identifying opportunities for business growth client development and long-term strategic success Reporting directly to the MD the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the management and performance of the organisation providing leadership across marine operations technical management HSEQ commercial activities and business development
