Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a General Insurance Underwriter in Dubai for a full-time role. You will assess risks across Property, Liability, Engineering, Marine, and SME lines, prepare quotations, and coordinate with insurers for policy issuance and adjustments.

The position requires 3+ years of underwriting experience with an insurance brokerage, strong product knowledge, and excellent English communication. Commission opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of General Insurance Underwriting experience with an insurance brokerage.
• Strong knowledge of Property, Liability, Engineering, Marine, and SME insurance products and policy analysis.
• Hands-on experience with insurance portals, policy issuance, quote preparation, and insurer negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Assess client submissions and risks across Property, Liability, Engineering, Marine, and SME insurance lines.
• Prepare quotations, quote slips, proposals, renewal terms, comparisons, and recommendation sheets.
• Coordinate with insurers for policy issuance, endorsements, cancellations, refunds, and premium adjustments.
• Support the sales team and maintain accurate underwriting records, documentation, and CRM/portal updates.
