Job summary

Whizz HR Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced General Insurance Underwriter in Dubai to manage underwriting activities across multiple general insurance products.

You will assess risks, prepare quotations, negotiate terms, manage renewals, and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of Dubai underwriting experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Dubai in insurance underwriting.
• Experience in general insurance underwriting is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Strong understanding of general insurance products and underwriting procedures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and client-handling skills.
• Proficiency in English is a must; Hindi is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate risks for general insurance products.
• Prepare and review quotations, terms, and comparisons.
• Handle policies across Motor, Property, Marine, Engineering, Liability and other general lines.
• Negotiate premium rates, policy terms, coverage and conditions with insurers.

• Coordinate with insurers, clients, brokers and stakeholders for quotations and issuance.
