Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking candidates in Abu Dhabi to join the motor underwriting team. You will organize, analyze data, and maintain systematic computerized records to support efficient underwriting of the company’s motor portfolio.

Key duties include assessing applications, processing renewals, monitoring risk, and ensuring timely delivery of policy documents while maintaining excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field or insurance qualification.
• 0–3 years of motor underwriting experience or similar responsibilities.
• Experience and knowledge in motor retail and fleet underwriting and operations.

Responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite motor insurance applications according to company policies and regulations.
• Handle day-to-day underwriting tasks following guidelines and procedures.
• Monitor risk management, claims history, and information to determine coverage and premiums.
• Scrutinize new submissions and analyze risk per Underwriting Guidelines to support decisions.
• Ensure policy documents and endorsements are processed accurately and delivered within defined KPIs.
• Deliver the highest standard of customer experience to business partners and clients.

Job description

The successful candidates will beresponsible to organise, analyse data, and maintain systematic computerized records related to premiums, which will ensure an efficient control on the underwriting of the company’s business.

What you will do

• Assess and underwrite motor insurance applications in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Handle day to day underwriting functions in a prompt manner by adhering to the prescribed guidelines and procedures
• Monitor the progress of risk management of the clients, claims history, and other relevant information to determine coverage and premium rates.
• Ability to scrutinize new submissions received and analyze the risk in line with Underwriting Guidelines in support of underwriting decisions
• Ensure New & Renewals policy documents, Terms & Conditions and endorsement documents and all service requests are processed accurately and delivered to clients within the defined KPI's
• Must provide highest standard of customer experience to all business partners & clients
