Job summary

Black Pearl is seeking a reliable General Accountant to join our family-owned business in Al Ain. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of UAE accounting experience, preferably within travel and tourism, with strong knowledge of day-to-day accounting operations and financial documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years UAE accounting experience.
• Experience in travel agency, tourism, or travel-related industry preferred.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and UAE practices.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates based in the UAE preferred; willing to work in Al Ain.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions including accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
• Prepare invoices, vouchers, receipts, and other documents.
• Reconcile bank accounts and cash transactions.
• Monitor receivables and payables and follow up as needed.
• Assist with monthly financial closing and basic reports.
• Maintain records of expenses, income, and transactions.
• Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and expense tracking.
• Coordinate with banks, suppliers, customers on accounting matters.
• Ensure records are organized and supporting documents are maintained.
• Assist with VAT documentation and UAE compliance.
• Support management with financial information, reports, and analysis.
• Handle other accounting and admin duties as required.
