Job summary

SACOTEL TRADING LLC is urgently seeking a General Accountant with strong Odoo experience to maintain comprehensive accounting records in Odoo, including invoices, reconciliations, and multicurrency transactions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and 2–4 years of practical experience. UAE residency is essential, with immediate availability preferred. Proficiency in UAE VAT and Excel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• 2–4 years of practical accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience using Odoo Accounting.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting procedures.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience in trading, inventory and import/export is preferred.
• Accurate, organized, and able to work independently.
• Must currently be in the UAE; immediate availability preferred.

We URGENTLY REQUIRE GENERAL ACCOUNTANT with Odoo Experience.

Maintain complete and accurate accounts in Odoo, including supplier and customer invoices, receipts, payments, accounts payable and receivable. Handle bank, supplier and customer reconciliations, monitor outstanding receivables and ageing, and maintain inventory-related accounting records. Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet and management reports, assist with UAE VAT returns, audits and year-end closing, and manage intercompany and multicurrency transactions while ensuring proper filing and supporting documentation.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain complete accounts in Odoo
