We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company's accounting, financial reporting, receivables, payables, banking activities, and project-related financial administration.The ideal candidate should have experience working in the UAE and possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT regulations, financial reporting, cash flow management, and government project accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, general ledger entries, and ensure compliance with UAE accounting and VAT regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and management reports.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment follow-up, collections, and receivables aging analysis.
• Oversee accounts payable processes, supplier payments, reconciliations, and payment scheduling.
• Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and coordinate banking activities and documentation.
• Administer performance bonds, bid bonds, bank guarantees, and related banking requirements.
• Support project accounting, tender submissions, government contracts, and profitability analysis.
• Maintain and optimize accounting operations within Odoo ERP, including reporting, financial transactions, reconciliations, and workflow improvements.

REQUIREMENTS

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE, with strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting systems.
• Experience handling performance bonds, bank guarantees, letters of credit (LCs), and government contract documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience in technology, trading, engineering, government contracting, security, public safety, or project-based organizations is highly preferred.
