Job description

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Record vendor invoices in the accounting system and manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Issue customer invoices in accordance with contract terms and ensure proper revenue recognition.
• Perform regular reconciliation of bank statements and statements of accounts.
• Process employee expense claims and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Manage inventory accounting including stock movements and valuation.
• Account for tangible and intangible fixed assets including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Calculate cost of goods sold and perform cost accounting and cost analysis.
• Ensure timely recognition of expenses including accruals, prepaid expenses, provisions, and cost allocations.
• Support tax accounting processes including UAE VAT and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) compliance.
• Ensure adherence to IFRS principles and company accounting policies.
• Facilitate internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit queries.
• Perform other ad‑hoc accounting and finance‑related tasks as required by Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Good understanding of cost accounting, inventory, fixed assets and tax accounting.
• Knowledge of IFRS standards.

• Experience with accounting systems such as Odoo and SAP Business One is an advantage.
• Fluency in both Russian and English (written and spoken).
