Job summary

Amazon Web Services EMEA Dubai FZ Branch is seeking a Senior GenAI Sales Specialist to drive adoption and revenue for AWS Generative AI services in Sub-Saharan Africa. You will identify high-value opportunities, engage with data science and IT stakeholders, and align customer needs with AWS GenAI solutions to unlock new value streams.

The role requires deep AI knowledge, consultative selling experience, and the ability to build and execute end-to-end sales engagements across complex enterprise

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology sales or business development, with a focus on enterprise or cloud services.
• Must have experience working with Data Scientist, Developers and Machine Learning professionals.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in enterprise software or cloud services.
• Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies, including Generative AI and Agentic AI concepts and applications.
• Experience in consultative selling and solution-based approaches to enterprise and mid-market customers on Generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Support the achievement of sales targets by developing and maintaining a healthy pipeline and guiding customers through end-to-end sales cycles, from discovery through to agreement;
• Create detailed account plans and territory strategies in partnership with internal teams, while maintaining accurate forecasting using CRM tools;
• Own the full-cycle specialist sales engagement plan for GenAI - from identifying qualified leads to realizing revenue across the Sub-Saharan Africa territory.
