Job summary

EY is seeking a Consultant - AI Software Engineer for FAAS in Dubai. You will join our Data & AI team, advising on AI engineering, GenAI, and MLOps to design, build and operationalize scalable AI solutions for clients across the MENA region.

You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers and business leaders to ensure AI-driven initiatives align with strategic goals, deliver measurable value, and comply with data privacy and governance standards, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3–4 years of related experience.
• At least 2 years in a global consulting firm.
• Hands-on AI/ML development with Python and major frameworks.
• Experience designing and deploying MLOps pipelines.
• Experience with GenAI use cases (summarization, chatbots, code generation).
• Knowledge of data privacy and responsible AI principles.
• Willingness to travel on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Manage up to two projects with senior leaders and define an AI FAAS strategy.
• Deliver AI use-cases including LLMs and MLOps implementations.
• Ensure timely delivery within regulatory requirements and FAAS framework.
• Monitor engagement performance against budget and support go-to-market.
• Stay updated on AI trends and assist business development.
