GCC Payments Product Lead — Checkout & Conversions

Job summary

Salt is seeking a Payments Product Manager in Dubai to own and optimize the payments experience across seven major retail brands and GCC markets. You will drive initiatives across cards, wallets, COD, BNPL, and local methods, using data to improve success, conversion and customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with PSPs and gateways, manage requirements and UAT, and support launches across multiple currencies and payment methods in a fast-paced digital retail environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in product management
• 2+ years in payments/fintech/e-commerce checkout
• Experience with gateways/PSPs/acquirers
• GCC payments expertise (Mada, 3DS2)
• Multi-market / multi-currency exposure
• Strong payment funnel knowledge
• SQL or analytics usage
• End-to-end product delivery
• Experience with external payment partners
• PCI-DSS awareness

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the payments product backlog from discovery through delivery.
• Drive payment initiatives across cards, wallets, COD, BNPL and local methods.
• Analyze PSR, authorization and failure metrics to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with PSPs, gateways, acquirers and BNPL providers.
• Partner with Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Operations, Legal and Brand.
• Support launches and optimization across GCC markets, currencies and methods.
• Own requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, UAT and releases.
• Handle payment operations including disputes, reconciliations.
• Use data to make data-driven product decisions.
