Job summary

SearchPlus HR is seeking an experienced Specialist/Consultant in Gastroenterology to join a premium healthcare facility in the UAE. You will diagnose, treat, and manage digestive diseases and perform advanced endoscopic procedures in a patient-centric setting.

The role requires recognized gastroenterology qualifications, postgraduate credentials and a track record in complex GI care. Excellent collaboration with surgeons and care teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Recognized Specialist or Consultant in Gastroenterology with postgraduate qualifications.
• Proven experience in managing complex GI conditions.
• Expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal disorders.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Manage conditions affecting oesophagus, stomach, intestines, liver and pancreas.
• Perform endoscopic procedures, including polypectomy and biopsy where qualified.
• Manage inflammatory bowel disease, GI bleeding, and liver-related conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Provide preventive care and guidance on digestive health.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other medical specialists.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure patient safety.
