Job summary

Sulzer in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Gas Turbine Inspector to join the ASOS workshop. You will perform bulk strip and detailed strip inspections of gas turbines, prepare defect reports, and support quality activities.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, IPC familiarity, and strong English communication. Prior turbine inspection experience and mechanical engineering qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in gas turbine inspection or similar role.
• Mechanical engineering qualifications preferred; alternative proven experience considered.
• Good English communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform bulk strip and detailed strip inspections of gas turbines.
• Prepare engine bulk strip and detailed defect reports.
• Carry out stage inspections during engine builds.
• Control workshop documentation and quality records.
• Assist QA representative in absence of supervisor.
• Ensure workshop measuring equipment is calibrated and certified.
• Support development of workshop procedures and supplier repairs.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving materials with vendors.
