Job summary

Sisco Jobs, on behalf of a client in Abu Dhabi, seeks an experienced QC Mechanical Inspector (Static/Rotating) to verify mechanical equipment against specifications, drawings, and ITPs. The role requires strong QA/QC and welding inspection knowledge with exposure to pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, compressors, turbines, and related assemblies.

Qualifications

• Mechanical inspection of equipment and installations against approved requirements.
• Review of drawings, ITPs, inspection procedures and quality documents.
• Welding inspection knowledge including WPS/PQR-related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect static equipment such as pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, piping components, and related mechanical installations.
• Inspect rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, and assemblies.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, inspection procedures, and quality requirements before inspection activities.
• Conduct visual, dimensional, material, welding, assembly, and installation inspections as applicable.
• Verify inspection and testing activities against approved ITPs and project quality requirements.
• Coordinate inspection activities with QA/QC, construction, engineering, vendors, and client representatives.
• Review inspection records, test reports, material certificates, and other quality documentation.
• Raise and follow up on NCRs, punch points, inspection observations, and corrective actions where required.
